Hi everyone! My name is Lexi Galiardi and I am a senior at Ohio State pursuing a degree in forestry, fisheries, and wildlife, with a specialization in wildlife and fisheries science. My ideal career will focus around habitat restoration and species conservation, so although my interests are in fish and wildlife, botany will definitely play a role in my future. The quote I chose to put on my coat of arms, which I think is very relevant to my previous statement, is by John Muir stating, “when one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world”. I love traveling to different national parks around the country, especially if I get to bring my dog with me. I’m really looking forward to this course and what it can teach me, and the ways in which it can apply to my future career.
